I'm trying all avenues here, but I placed an order with your online shop back in December 2012 and I haven't recieved it. I've sent you two e-mails, one in January and another just a week or so ago, and I haven't recieved any reply. I've paid for my order, so this is incredibly distressing. I know you're busy, but...I'd very much like my order.

We are sorry that we will not be able to see the wonderful "hustle and bustle" of Elephant House anymore. Might as well remove the cam for all the good it does now.

Apologies to all the customers who have commented on our webcam which has been down recently. The cam was deliberately put down because of problems related to staff security and will now only be directed to the outside of the cafe. Many thanks for all the emails and comments... its nice to know how much the cam is appreciated.

Great site! But lately, your webcam seems to be competing with the Mars Rover. Weird landscape! It probably just needs a readjustment. But I live in Canada, and my remote is too far away to be of any use.

I visited in early January during the day and had a nice time; however I tried to get a hot drink tonight at about 8:30 only to find the lights dim, the chairs up and doors shut....what are your current closing hours?

This is a great little coffee house, the atmosphere is pleasant and there is a nice buzz about the place. The one gripe I have is the staff. I have been here a couple of times now and a couple of the staff are very uncharming and make you feel rushed when reading. As soon as my coffee is finished, they take it and continually look over so as to suggest, please leave and allow the table to be freed up.

We visit Edinburgh often, & always call in to The Elephant House. You are often crowded - no surprise - & queues can be long. So we really welcome your enforcement of the 'be served before you sit down' rule stated on a large board that not even the most selfish customer could miss. So often in the past people would just walk past the queue, past the modest sign, grab a seat & then join the queue. This created annoyance. Your larger notice, with consistent, polite enforcement, is just the ticket. We look forward to seeing you again. What a wonderful place you have! With very best wishes. Rhona & Alan

Hello, I visited you shop last October and had a wonderful experience. The cup of tea, I believe, was the Scottish house blend, was the best I have had in a very long time. The scone was incredible. One of your most thoughtful waitresses gave me the company where you purchase your tea. I have unfortunately misplaced that small piece of paper. Is it possible to have you e-mail me where I can purchase that wonderful tea? Again I had a most agreeable experience there. One day I hope to return. Thank You
